The moment one develops an actual plan, and tries to achieve something rather then murder for murders sake this trait leaves you and you cease to have any meaning, beyond being curbstomped by previously minor characters.
The best plan is to have no conceivable plan. The best motivation is to have none explained. Villains in this webcomic exist only to be first touted as deadly threats with absolutely no traits beyond violence and the ability to shoot lazers. Should they try to be anything more, they will cease to be a threat.
